We did it! It all came together so nicely… after many negative Covid test ha ha. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t sick or wouldn’t get anyone else sick. Tis’ the season that never seems to go away. It was a smaller expo this year, but was very high quality. We were able to have a nice open end booth that people could move around easily in. We saw many familiar faces, but made lots of new connections and partnerships as well. It was an exhausting 2 days, but it always pays off to get back out there and talk to your friends in the industry!
New Products That We Highlighted This Year
- Open Air Outdoor Cabinetry: Maintenance-free cabinets made from recycled materials. This past summer we decided to order a couple of cabinets for our raised deck and test them out and they are standing true! Here’s a picture of them right after installation, so the countertops and the toe kick hadn’t been installed yet. We truly love the style and ease of having an outdoor kitchen on a raised deck without footings. We plan to run a gas line to the grill in the near future.
- Daltile (Porcelain Tile): Durable, easy-to-maintain porcelain tile. We showcased Daltile tread ASSEMBLE Emissary in our booth this year at the show. It has a Terrazzo and agglomerated stone look which is a beautiful alternative to a colored concrete finish. Here we are installing it while we were mocking up the booth in our warehouse.
MetalSmiths Designs: The arbor was the standout at the show. It has cedar posts with an aluminum arbor top. It’s in an easy to assemble kit that we created together. One nice feature is that you don’t necessarily have to pour footings. You’ll just need to fasten the metal feet on each post to your patio surface. Here they are installing it at this years show.
MetalSmiths Designs also created this pretty sweet corten steel woodburning firepit. It will naturally rust out and be a statement piece on any patio! Overall dimensions are: 30″L x 42″W x 24″H
If we didn’t see you at the Northern Green Expo this year, we would love to discuss any upcoming projects you may have or feel free to call us with ANY questions, ANYTIME!
Stay Well!
