Features of Our Operable Pergolas
Rafters:
Made from heavy-gauge extruded aluminum, our rafters have TEMKOR corbels capping their ends and are 30 percent heavier to allow for larger spans.
Columns & Beams:
You’ll be able to choose from three types of columns (Roma, Florentine, and Venetian) and can upgrade them with decorative bases and caps. The beams feature TEMKOR corbels and large spans for clear views.
Extruded Louvers:
Like the rafters, our louvers feature extruded aluminum and are designed with a return lip to reduce post-rain dripping.
Motors:
The motor is what makes operating the louvers easy as can be. It’s a “slow motion” actuator that has 500-lb push/pull force. An electrical raceway also hides the power cable, ensuring your operable pergola will have a classic, streamlined look.
Here is a view looking up through the louvers while they are in the open position. They open with in 30 sec – 1 min, but a push of a button.
